VOLT IN HOLT

A Poland-based duo consisting of Paulina Nadia Weremczuk and Dominik Kuryga. Since late 2021, they have been creating abstract, monochromatic works using a self-developed technique of painting with electricity on photosensitive surfaces. Paper is their primary medium, though they also work with other materials coated with photosensitive emulsion, including glass, canvas, and mica. Their works have been presented in solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, and featured in magazines dedicated to art and culture. One of their works was selected by BitBasel for an international art archive intended for preservation on the Moon.

Paulina Nadia Weremczuk

Born in 1993 in Warsaw, Poland. Paulina is an artist whose practice explores the intersection of art, science, and technology. She is developing a concept that combines the duo’s original Painting with Electricity technique with philosophical reflection. She graduated in Product Design from the Academy of Technology and Art of Applied Sciences in Warsaw (formerly University of Ecology and Management).

Dominik Kuryga

Born in 1994 in Warsaw. Dominik is an independent researcher and constructor involved in plasma physics, electrical engineering, and industrial implementation projects. He is passionate about capturing the beauty of physical phenomena.

Notable collaborations

2025–2026 – Art for Impact Program. Work δ-5-6-513 selected for the BitBasel Space Collection. Permanent archiving using NanoFiche technology in the AstroGLPH lunar payload. Set to journey to the Moon in 2026 as part of the Griffin-1 lander mission (NASA CLPS, Astrobotic; SpaceX Falcon Heavy). Presentation of the collection by BitBasel during Miami Art Week 2025.
